Welcome to Torah Tots!
Torah Tots Preschool is licensed by the Ministry of Community and Social Services and is associated with the BJE (Board of Jewish Education). Inspired by the principles of the Reggio Emilia philosophy, Torah Tots welcomes every child regardless of background or affiliation and appreciates their differences. Central to the philosophy is a deep respect for the potential of young individuals.
Our aim is to connect children to the beauty of the natural world through a learning environment that has been constructed with thought and grace, while tending to their emotional growth and well-being.
The curriculum is holistically woven with the timeless values and morals of our heritage, coming alive through rich lessons conceptualized by teachers in such a way that the children can learn through their own discovery, hypotheses and exploration.

Who We Are
Goals
Torah Tots seeks to create a stimulating and enriching educational environment for each and every child. The school is devoted to helping children learn socialization skills, building their self-confidence and teaching them the preliminary skills to explore and experience the world independently from their parents.
Our goal is to provide children with the early foundation and framework to prepare them for the transition to elementary school. In addition, we seek to ignite a spark in each child to lay claim to his or her Jewish heritage and commit him or her to a lifetime passion for learning.

The program is fun and non-competitive, allowing each child to progress at their own pace. Even those less interested in sports leave happy, fostering a lifelong love for movement and enhancing their overall well-being, both physical and mental.
Music Appreciation with Bryna
At Torah Tots, music is all about experiencing it as joyful and fun!
Through activities like finger play, rhythm exercises, chants, songs, instruments, and musical games, children learn and integrate musical concepts such as beat, rhythm, and tempo. These activities also help develop important skills such as cooperation and listening.

Movement & Yoga with Julia
Our kids' yoga program introduces children to yoga through fun games and activities. It teaches movement, posture, team building, and personal growth. Yoga helps kids find balance, improving concentration, focus, and confidence. They gain muscle strength and flexibility, benefiting daily activities. The program offers a creative, non-competitive environment where children can relax and enjoy learning. This safe space promotes physical and mental health, keeping kids active and engaged.
Shabbat Party!
Friday at Torah Tots is special with our Shabbat party. Each week, a boy and girl are chosen to be the Eema (Mommy) and Abba (Daddy). A note will be sent home if your child is selected. The Abba brings 2 small Kosher Challahs, and the Eema brings a special nosh. Real Mommies are invited to join and capture these moments. Please ensure all foods are sealed Kosher, nut-free, and non-dairy. This program also occurs on Thursday for children attending two days a week.
Show & Share
Wednesday will be Show and Share day. The children can bring in any item they choose from home. They will have the opportunity to talk about it to their classmates during circle time and share it with their friends during free play. This gives the children an opportunity to share their belongings with their friends while boosting their confidence. Toys should only be brought in for Show & Share Day. Teachers cannot be responsible for toys brought in at any other day.
Mad Science
Torah Tots proudly partners with Mad Science, the world’s leading science enrichment program. Mad Science provides a hands-on science experience for children that's both entertaining and educational. The program sparks imagination while promoting scientific literacy through themes like rocketry, magnets, and polymers. Children engage in exciting activities, watch demonstrations, and take home creations like model rockets, periscopes, and Mad Science putty, making science fun and accessible!

Full Day Session
Each morning, students are welcomed by their teacher before diving into a world of curated learning centers and activities. These environments are dynamic, evolving weekly, daily, or even hourly to keep the atmosphere electric with possibility.
Paint. Clay. Collage. Musical instruments. Blocks, Books. Dolls to bathe. Suitcases to pack. Flour and salt to make play dough with. Special things for special days. And each day is a special day.
There is always a fresh challenge or a new way to interact with a familiar toy; children remain deeply motivated and engaged. This is carefully balanced with consistency, safety, and "home-like" comfort of a predictable environment.
