CHABAD LUBAVITCH OF MARKHAM IS GROWING!!
The community voted at a special meeting to go ahead with a building project that would incorporate the Markham Center for Skills and Independence. "The new fully accessible Markham Centre for Skills and Independence will enable Chabad Lubavitch of Markham to expand their seniors’ programs and implement an array of new programs for people with disabilities.“ The expanded building, including a new basement, will provide an extension to the existing building of approximately 5,600 sq ft, allowing for additional space for the Sanctuary and Social Hall.
A "yasher koach" to all of those involved in the development of the project and special thanks to the members who turned out at the general meetings and provided their essential input.
There will be additional opportunity for member input as the project progresses to the detailed design stage and a comprehensive list of dedication opportunities will be made available shortly.
